First BiciSoul/MeetUp Bicycle & Brunch

BiciSoul and MeetUp are proud to announce our first Bicycle & Brunch to be held on July 23, 2017 starting at 10 am at the Philadelphia Art Museum steps, having brunch to be held at our host restaurant Tavern on Broad and ending at Parks on Tap on the Schuylkill Banks at 3 pm to 4 pm.  We ask for a suggested donation of $5 or more to defray the costs of hosting the event and to donate to BiciSoul.  If you can donate more, we will greatly appreciate it.  This is a child-friendly event so bring along your child-strollers, child-trailers, child-tandems, bmxs and balance bikes.  We will go at a slow pace, 10-12 mph.  If there are those who want a challenge, there will bike leaders to accommodate them.  At around 12 pm or so, after our cycling on West River Drive, we will meet up at Paine’s Park.

We will meet at 10 am at the Philadelphia Art Museum then head onto West River Drive.  We will spend two hours, exploring, chatting and taking in the scenery of West River Drive.  It will be a picture-friendly and family-friendly event so bring your cameras and family!  After exploration either with our ride leaders, with family or alone, we will gather at Paine’s Park.  From that point on, we will head a bit south on the Schuylkill River Trail onto Locust exit and onto Pine Street.  We will head toward Broad Street and to Tavern on Broad for a delicious lunch with family and friends, new and old.  After our delicious lunch, for those interested, we will go to Parks on Tap on the Banks of the Schuylkill near the Locust entrance.

For an approximate schedule of events for those who may wish to arrive at our points instead and continue their cycling day:

• Philadelphia Art Museum at 10 am – 10:30 am
• Paine’s Park at 10:30 am

• Paine’s Park at 12 pm
• Tavern on Broad at 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm
• Parks on Tap at 2:30 pm – 4:00 pm
